Recruited for this start-up joint venture aerospace company owned by Blades Technologies International, Inc. (BTII). BTII was jointly owned by the Wertheimer family of Israel and Pratt & Whitney with affiliates and subsidiaries in the US, Israel and China. Responsibilities included treasury, budgeting, financial planning and analysis, general accounting, regulatory compliance, tax, risk management and non-product purchasing. Established new banking relationships and put in place credit lines to support business needs. Financed capital acquisitions through a combination of fixed rate, floating, and interest rate hedge transactions. Implemented short term equipment operating lease program to support new product / technology implementation.Replaced Risk Management program which resulted in annual premium savings of over $350K. Prepared Annual Business Plan and updated Strategic Plan, including supporting detail, and presented to Executive management.Prepared reports to Executive management interpreting monthly financial performance, explaining variances to plan, and recommending corrective actions.Implemented annual company budgeting process which encompassed all operating and support departments.
