The household goods moving industry has evolved quite a bit since I first started 30 years ago. It truly has become a global industry.We once dealt directly with human resource professionals mostly in our own home base of Southern Ontario. Now we work with both corporations and relocation management firms throughout the world as part of their global network of employee relocation suppliers. Our company Taylor International has evolved over this time as well.We have focused our firm's energy on employee relocation. Our in house move coordinators utilize custom information technology systems that we designed to steam line the move process. Our cross border service has been developed to be a leader in our industry. Our in house forwarding allows us to use and control the quality of our own global network of like minded partners. We recognize, however, that our firm is only as good as the people we send into our customers house.Human resource recruitment and training is probably the most important aspect of my job. I want our people to feel that a job at Taylor Moving is indeed a career and I am very proud of our staff of packers, helpers and drivers that we have developed over time.
