I partnered with a visual design director on several projects across both finance and automotive accounts. We worked to oversee the creation of a new Figma design system library. I specifically helped with the establishment of a new documentation taxonomy and governance plan, and worked with a team of experience designers to componentize annotations. In our day-to-day work, my design partner and I led vision initiatives. We worked on the implementation of a conversational commercial credit card application. Then, pivoted to driving a CX strategy for rearchitecting and replatforming an OEM ecosystem.

I was the content lead on a 40+ person creative team. I directly oversaw the performance and output a team of 12 copywriters and content strategists. I concepted, planned and oversaw the creation of a centralized atomic content and annotations library. A companion to our design system library, the Global Elements Library (GEL) detailed functional requirements, including backend triggers, for displaying variants in microcopy and interactions. It was designed to reduce manual error, create visibility and align our content and annotation documentation more closely with code. Ultimately, the creation of this library led to an overall reduction in documentation by 70%. Yep. 70%. I provided creative direction to cross-discipline creative pods, driving the overall strategy and vision on release-based projects. My primary responsibility was to lay out the information architecture strategy and ensure content strategy and copy voice and tone aligned with system-wide goals and standards.

As Content Strategy Lead, I mentor and guide a team of three copywriters and three content strategists in creating a cohesive voice and messaging strategy across four credit card servicing products. I also partner with an Experience Lead to oversee the work of a cross-discipline creative team, ensuring that new designs and features jive with—and thoughtfully push—our existing system patterns.
