I am a Senior in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville working toward a Business Marketing Degree with a collateral in Entrepreneurship. Building relationships and supporting others have always been great strengths of mine. During my time working as a District Manager Intern for ALDI, I was able to grow personally as a skilled communicator and professionally in my knowledge of a wide-range of business operations. During my time working as a Maintenance Supervisor with the City of Knoxville Parks and Recreation Department, I helped to foster the professional growth of many employees and acted as a conflict resolver on numerous occasions. These strengths, in addition to my improved networking and administrative skills, are ones that I continued to utilize in my position as an ALDI Student Ambassador at UTK. Another core strength of mine is the ability to organize while being able to adapt to changes in situations. Overall, I have been able to utilize my strengths in these positions and will put them to good use in my future career.I am interested in working with others to solve complex marketing and sales issues through clear and honest communication. The desire I have to help others through creating enriching social connections is one of my key motivations. My experience in a wide range of previous job roles and my time studying Business/Marketing at UTK have given me the knowledge necessary to pursue a career in this field. For example, my experience as both a front-line and managerial employee in the retail and service industries have helped me develop exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills, while my experience in leadership roles working for the City of Knoxville and ALDI have helped me expand my leadership styles and given me the passion and values necessary for motivating and helping others. My most important career goal is to have the ability to positively impact and inspire those around me through my values and skills as a leader.
