Inventory Control Project Manager
Inventory Control - ResponsibilitiesConducts error investigations and reconciliation.Approves inventory adjustments within prescribed dollar limits and advises management on excessive adjustments.Prepares products for internal and external audits.Investigates and resolves inventory errors related to engineering and R&D.Provides coaching and training as needed, maintaining appropriate records.Assists Purchasing and Accounts Payable departments as requested.Conducts physical SOC (System and Organization Controls) audit counts.Analyzes and addresses diverse inventory-related problems.Exercises judgment within defined practices and policies to select methods for obtaining solutions.Frequently interacts with supervisors, customers, and peer managers, with occasional interaction with senior management.Collaborates with internal audit to update and document current inventory control procedures.Ensures timely completion of all cycle counts and assists as needed.Develops Business Intelligence metrics to streamline database analysis and summarize consumption versus retained or aging material.
