Hi, I'm Rishab and I'm a Graduate Economics student from Christ University, Bangalore. Over the years of education I've had, I developed a plethora of interests driven by the circumstances of my life. I was into dance and literary activities like poem writing and story writing back in primary school. Slowly, I transitioned from dance to music, joined the school choir, and participated in annual plays. I was also seen as a confident public speaker and was selected to give the School Captain's speech in the sixth standard. Nevertheless, I left my day school soon after to join Mayo College, Ajmer, to experience holistic education. Mayo taught me to be resilient and construct solutions. I was bullied for the first few years which made me want to keep myself busy. Therefore, in the eighth standard, I made my debut as an actor with an inter-house play and continued to represent my school outside as well. However, due to certain problems, I took a break from theatre after a year. Thereafter, I landed in music. I represented my school in various inter-house and inter-school competitions and won several awards for the same. My music teacher was so happy with my performance that he made me the Western Music Captain and also called me the best leader he had seen in 22 years. I was overwhelmed and tried to maintain his expectations. Although my final year at school was busy with extra-curricular activities, I scored 94.5% (Sciences) in my CBSE board exams. After finishing school, I pursued B.A. Economics Honours at CHRIST University, Bangalore. During my first year of college, I was a part of the college choir and Live Illusion Productions, a theatre production house, where I represented the team as a lead actor and director. In my second year, I was elected the Class Representative and I also had a blog based on various issues that struck me as relevant. During my third year, I was elected as the Team Head to manage, restructure and condition the 100-member team. Since then, I have been a part of about 10 plays and directed about 10 short films/ mimes as well, some of which have won prizes at the college and intercollege levels. I have always been preferred for leadership and management roles due to my team-building skills and quality of work. I have an eye for detail and the ability to learn quickly. I carefully understand my work and I get the job done. I have now graduated from college with a First Class division and I am exploring my options further for studies and/or work.
