For nearly 15 years at Hunton & Williams, I worked on a broad range of commercial disputes, including litigation, arbitration, mediation and negotiation. I practice on an international, federal, state and local level, including alcohol beverage compliance and state and local tax controversy work. I have helped a Fortune 100 corporation successfully defend a multi-million dollar international breach of contract claim, arbitrated an international insurance claim, successfully defended an award of attorney’s fees in False Claims Act litigation before the United States Supreme Court and successfully assisted Sudanese and Guatemalan victims of political torture receive political asylum and withholding of removal. I serve clients across a variety of industries. I am equally committed to solving problems for Fortune 500 companies as I am for small businesses and individuals. For much of my career I served the community. I organized and implemented a voter registration drive responsible for registering hundreds of voters. I was a charter member of the Virginia Bar Association’s Community Service Program 2006. I am a bar leader and a recognized pro bono lawyer, having devoted more than 1,350 hours to pro bono clients. I am passionate about going to court and advocating for my clients. I am very organized, creative and focused.
