IRC's signature Money Mindset Mastery program teaches clients both the inner and outer tools necessary to build TRUE, sustainable wealth that will be perpetuated throughout the generations. We don't provide financial advice or manage our clients money for them, we provide education and guidance to take control of their own financial future, and save thousands. We are committed to educating the community (especially the youth), demystifying money, and raising the consciousness of the planet one human at a time. -
MentorMentoring Mentors Nov 2021 - PresentBaltimore, Maryland, United StatesI asked the universe for a space where I could give of myself and share my wisdom with the youth, and God sent MM. I began Mentoring with MM in 2020 and it has been one of the pillars of my life ever since. The thought of these kids having access to this powerful knowledge at 13-17 years old- gives me goosebumps. Every time I step into these spaces with the youth, I am re-inspired and excited for our future. MM has blessed me with the ability to speak to High School students every month on powerful topics like Mindfulness, Psychology, Wellness. Healing Trauma and so much more. This is one of my favorite parts of my life- getting to spend time with, educate, and inspire the youth to wake up to the truth of their being, and follow their highest passions, excitements, and inspirations. -
Director Of Operations & Mindset CoachReveal Wealth Feb 2022 - May 2024Columbia, Maryland, United StatesMy time assisting the Reveal Wealth team was fantastic. I had the opportunity to support advisors doing great work in their community, while also building my coaching business and mastering my craft in my free time. I got to live my dream of being the in-house mindset coach for Reveal Wealth where I did "Rich's Word of the Week" and brought positive energy and powerful edutainment to our weekly meetings. I also got the opportunity to coach a few of Reveal's advisors 1:1 and seeing them take off has been such a blessing! -

Financial AdvisorReveal Wealth Mar 2020 - Jul 2021Columbia, Maryland, United StatesBeing asked to become a founding member of this prestigious, black-owned financial planning firm will always be one of the highlights of my life. The Reveal Team is committed to closing the racial wealth gap one family at a time, and although I've moved on to follow the calling of my soul as a coach- I still consider myself to be a part of the Reveal team because our missions and values align so well. If you know me, you know I tend to poo poo on the traditional financial planning route. But that's only because I've seen so many do it wrong, and so little do it right. Reveal Wealth does it right, with integrity. -
Financial Services ProfessionalNylife Securities Llc Jan 2019 - Feb 2021Bethesda, Maryland, United StatesI am grateful for NYL for sponsoring me to get my Series 7 and Series 66 licenses. I also met the founders of Reveal Wealth at the Greater Washington Office! -
AgentNew York Life Insurance Company Jan 2019 - Feb 2021Columbia, MarylandI told my story to the beautiful soul I met at New York Life and was assured I had found a place that would help me do right by my clients, and not make money at their expense. I loved my time at New York Life. I got to experience the feeling of being a successful life insurance agent and financial professional having one of the highest total death benefits and amount of policies sold amongst the new org agents. I met awesome mentors and learned so much both within the organization and outside of it. I still direct some clients to do business with NYL even though I am no longer contracted with them. -
Financial Services RepresentativeForesters Financial Feb 2017 - Dec 2018Washington D.C. Metro AreaForesters is a great company. They sponsored me to get my Life Insurance license, my Series 6, and my Series 63 licenses. I still do life insurance business with them because I love the firm itself, but the culture of the local office wasn't aligned with me. I'll never forget that conversation I had with the branch manager and senior advisors:Me: "It seems like you're developing a culture of sales rather than a culture of advising. When I hear things like 'I wish I could just sell these teachers VULs and never see them again', it's concerning to me"Him: "You shouldn't feel bad about doing the second or third 'best' plan for your client if it makes you more money! That's a win-win. Most people we work with don't have a plan at all, so ANY plan is better than nothing!"And that was my cue to dip the hell out of that place. Really? Any plan is better than nothing? So we just don't care to try to put our clients in the BEST position possible? That's when I started to realize this industry isn't really set up to help every day people build wealth. But I kept my belief in myself that I would be able to find a way to do what I came into the industry to do- build generational wealth by helping others do the same, and maintain my integrity while doing so. -
Bartender/ ServerBuffalo Wild Wings Oct 2015 - Feb 2017College Park, MarylandOooweee BWW was a great time! Those football games were really fun, BUT people would sit at your table for HOURS and you wouldn't get to turn them. I made up for that with volume when I could. I'll never forget the night I took 12 tables by myself in the bar area. I was running around like crazy and having the time of my life. I loved staying busy, it made time fly. What I didn't love was staying until 4am cuz some fool wanted to take 4 smoke breaks while we are trying to close up shop. Like common man, its 2am do you NOT want to go home? Bartending was fun but I only got to do it a couple months before starting my financial services career. They did ask me to be a manager which was flattering.Looking back, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at BWW. I got to work with my best friend and roommate, and met some dope people that ended up becoming clients and lifelong friends! -
InternForesters Financial May 2016 - Aug 2016Washington D.C. Metro AreaHow synchronistic it was. I wanted to take a fitness training class but missed the deadline to register so I emailed the Kineseology dept asking if it was still possible. They emailed me instructions to do so, but for some reason my gmail sent that message directly to the trash, so I didn't see it until months later. And because I didn't see it, I worked at Buffalo Wild Wings those Thursday mornings that I would have been taking the class. And it was a Thursday morning that I met the gentleman from Foresters.. "What's your major? Business? Based on the way you served me I feel like you would be really good at what I do.. Financial Advising." Got the internship interview, which led to the summer internship, which led to a full time offer after my early graduation at the end of 2016. -
ServerRed Lobster Jan 2013 - Sep 2015Bel Air, MarylandProduce was cool but they kept putting me on those 8 hour Checker shifts on Saturdays and I got SUPER tired of spending all day behind the register at Safeway. I figured it might be more fun to work in a restaurant environment rather than the grocery store. The warm lighting of Red Lobster was definitely a better ambiance than that harsh bright white light in Safeway.I went from host to busser to server in about a year, and thoroughly enjoyed serving for the most part. It helped me save money for my first car so I could see my girlfriend (now wife) Avery who lived a few towns over. But there wasn't a Red Lobster in College Park so I moved on when college came. -
Produce ClerkSafeway Jun 2011 - Nov 2012Bel Air, MarylandAs soon as I was legal to work I started my career as a Courtesy Clerk. I was quickly promoted to Produce Clerk/Checker when the managers noticed my tenacity on the carts (hauling like 20 at a time I should have been stopped!) and excellent customer service.Don't get me started on how good my produce department looked in the mornings! I was meticulous with those apple displays especially and had the produce department looking immaculate. Whenever help was needed, I would get customers out in a flash with my speedy checking skills and knowledge of most produce codes by heart. Safeway is where I learned that my work ethic and customer service skills were superior to most. Or maybe I was just a try hard because I got my self-worth from those atta boys? I'm sure both were true. I definitely could have done better at connecting with my customers. I was so focused on speed I rarely let myself slow down and connect with the human in front of me.
