I was thrown into the deep end of the Campus Ministry pool in my first professional position at the University of Georgia. Based on a collegiate history of working in leadership with religion on campus at a state university and a private liberal arts college, my resume positioned me to be appointed as the Univeristy liaison to the Campus Ministry Profesional Association. From that point forward, I endeavored to integrate campus ministry programs and opportunities into the various roles I have held in higher education, including my present role as a supervising campus minister and consultant for congregations in establishing campus ministries on nearby campuses. I am a specialist in Developmental Tasks and Challenges of 18-25 year-old adults.

To offer leadership through service in Higher Education and the Church

Directed the Student Affairs Division, including Residence Halls, Food Service, Student Activities, Judicial Affairs, Intercollegiate Athletics, Counseling, Career Planning and Placement, and Student Health Services. Serving as a member of the Executive Management Team for an on-campus student body of 1200 and a student enrollment at Extended Education Campuses of 30,000.

Directed the residence life and facilities of seventeen residence halls accommodating over three thousand students, over 350 staff members, and summer conference services. Served as adjunct faculty member in the University of Georgia College of Education.

Supervised nine residence halls, staff, and programs on an urban campus four blocks from the White House, with responsibility for the student life and co-curricular programs for 2,200 students. Also directed the summer DC Intern Housing program. Conducted research in stress, burnout, and bureaucratic orientation, in affiliation with the faculty of the department of Public Administration.
