I am a sophomore at the Kelley School of Business with a major in Finance and Accounting. I chose the Kelley School of Business because of the highly ranked finance program, vibrant student body, as well as beautiful campus. Currently, I am a part of multiple clubs here at IU, including ISBA, FAA, Ascend, and Net Impact.My interest in finance began in high school when I took a personal finance class in my freshman year. I slowly realized that I really enjoyed the subject, but I also realized that I excelled in it, specifically with calculations and real-world situations. Later on in high school I took Virtual Enterprise and joined DECA to increase my business passion and knowledge. In the past, I worked a year at the fast-food giant Chipotle, where I worked the line. Since I was always working swiftly with no breaks a lot of the time, I achieved the skill to work well under pressure. In addition, I participated in and also worked at Syosset Baseball Association, where I was able to enhance my decision-making and leadership skills as a junior umpire.I am extremely motivated and driven to become successful not only in the workplace but also in numerous areas outside of the workplace as well. I feel as if the qualities I have and the qualities I will gain as a student will contribute to my potential job. In the future, I hope to use these skills, qualities, and many others characteristics to achieve a job as an investment banker at a prestigious company.
