As the Technology Director at the St. Tammany Parish Assessor's Office, I am responsible for the oversight of technology infrastructure and data stewardship. I lead a diverse, highly-skilled team on many of our data cleanup projects, including the effort to find missing improvement values in St. Tammany Parish, to discover and map all parcels, and to correct missing or inaccurate data in the Assessor's Assessment System. I also lead the effort to standardize the Assessor's data, streamline all data capture procedures, protect the office's data from security threats, and maintain the modernity of the technology in the office. In 2021 I oversaw the successful implementation of a new, modern Assessment System that is fully integrated with GIS and Clerk of Court data.

As the GIS Coordinator, I oversee the parcel map production for the St. Tammany Parish Assessor's Office. I write and maintain the STPAO GIS Guidance Manual, a living document which dictates the standards and procedures for GIS data capture. I write custom programs using Python to automate many of the Assessor's GIS processes. I am the architect and administrator of the Assessor's GIS data infrastructure, as well as the supervisor of a team of GIS and Research Analysts within the department. I also produce print and digital maps and data visualizations for publication within the office and for the public. Additionally, I create interactive web maps using Leaflet for special projects. Examples of these projects include mapping land value changes from one year to the next and showing building footprint changes over time.

I created MM Maps in 2019 as a side venture for freelance cartographic work. I offer GIS services, custom data visualizations using Python, print and digital cartography, and interactive web mapping using Leaflet or ArcGIS Online for clients.
