I am a third year Forensic Science student, who has a strong work ethic and determination to get the job done to a high standard. I never turn down a challenge as I like to test my ability and knowledge, I represented my university in the WorldSkills competition for Forensic Science. I believe that the skills I have developed and practice throughout my studies, especially my attention to detail and accuracy whilst working in a laboratory environment will stand me good stead for the world of work within a chemistry laboratory as a chemist. I am highly skilled in Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Analytical Skills, Microsoft Word, Communication, and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Throughout my time at University, I have also been able to work within numerous companies where my skills for communication and service have been vital. I have been a waitress since I was 18 which has enabled me to develop new skills, such as learning to use a coffee machine. This shows that I can be professional, especially as I have never left a job due to something detrimental that I have done. Working has also proved vital as I know I work well among my peers and management.
