Fort Hood, Tx

Responsible for training various levels of staff personnel in the use of the Military Decision Making Process and the tracking and management of diverse, complex daily operations. Primary duties include preparation of training materials, determination of training methodology, and coordination in the development and use of training aids. Conduct formal training in staff integration. Mentor and provide After Action Reviews of staff personnel. Evaluate training materials and procedures; make or recommend revisions to keep abreast of emerging techniques.

Fort Hood, Tx

Served as the G7 for III Corps; a colonel’s position. Responsible, on a daily basis, for training Soldiers in the G7 to plan and prepare Operational and Strategic-level communications efforts supporting US Government and military objectives. Led the Information Operations (IO) activities of four divisions, to include two from South Korea, and six personnel in the G7 during Ulchi Freedom Guardian, a major training event in Korea. Prepared the section for the first Corps-level Warfighter exercise since 2003.

Baghdad, Iraq

Deployed with III Corps as the Psychological Operations (PSYOP) Chief, but was assigned as the J33 (IO) Current Operations Chief after arriving at US Forces-Iraq. Formally recognized for managing the activities of multiple units and sections while deployed to Iraq; with over 100 Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and civilians in the J33 (IO) section. Was a key member in a team responsible for securing continued program funding valued at over $180,000,000.

Fort Bragg, Nc

Planned and coordinated the operations for a battalion consisting of approximately 250 Soldiers responsible for conducting missions throughout the Pacific region.

Fort Leavenworth, Ks

Learned duties and responsibilities of a mid-level staff officer. Completed requirements for a Master’s degree; thesis title: “Regional Expertise in the Army of the 21st Century.”

Fort Bragg, Nc

Learned duties and responsibilities of an officer in Psychological Operations. Supervised two detachments as the Officer in Charge (OIC) during deployments to Kosovo and Iraq. Developed plans with teams focused on countering acts of terrorism and aggression.

Fort Campbell, Ky

Commanded a headquarters battery in a field artillery battalion; responsible for the training, health and welfare of about 220 Soldiers and their families. As FSO, planned and coordinated artillery support for two infantry battalions and served in the division fire support element; all within the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).

Fort Sill, Ok

Learned duties and responsibilities of a mid-level FA officer during the Field Artillery Officer Advanced Course. As Fire Direction Officer (FDO), was responsible for all artillery data calculations within a four-gun platoon. As battalion liaison officer, was the artillery battalion commander’s representative to any supported unit.

As Fire Direction Officer, was responsible for all artillery data calculations within a four-gun platoon. As Fire Support Officer, planned and coordinated all artillery support for a armor / infantry task force and a cavalry troop; all within the 4th Infantry Division (Mechanized).

Camp Stanley, Republic Of Korea

As a new lieutenant in the field artillery, was responsible for planning and coordinating the radar coverage of all counterfire radars in South Korea. Those radars were the only means of accurately identifying locations of hostile artillery firing units.
