Published Project Report titled: Supply Chain Modernization In Ontario Health Care 2007. - Advisor to the Ontario Ministry of Finance, BPS Supply Chain Secretariat related to supply chain transformation in Ontario hospitals. Consulting initiatives and annual savings realized included: -St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital – cart optimization + $700K. -SCO Healthcare e-Commerce project + $300K -UHN OR supply chain technology project + $10M over 5 years ➪Directed a working group representing 46 healthcare organizations through the development of a detailed project and capital requirements proposal that would result in an e-Supply Chain project with government approved funding within 6 months.- Directed project implementation that included establishing the central project office, communications planning, and development of standard tools and process to support and monitor project execution. -Led RFP process resulting in the successful deployment of standardized e-commerce technologies across 6 ERP systems.- Facilitated a team of healthcare professionals through the refinement of 20 hospital supply chain performance metrics and 12 standards in preparation for provincial implementation.- Led RFP process that would successfully identify a service provider to refine and prioritize supply chain performance metrics and standards developed by the HSCM Working Group.
