About Rob Briggs

If your people are your organization’s most valuable asset, then your human resources department should be the team that makes them feel valued, heard and cared for. I believe that human resources should be where the company and its employees’ needs intersect and that the human resources teams must focus on attracting, building positive relationships with, training and retaining its people. This is what I bring to an organization. You will see in my experience detailed below that I am an Air Force veteran. Though my career started in security forces, for the last 24 years my career has been a combination of training and human resources. Much of my training experience has been in teaching technical concepts to brand new employees as they learned the critical components of their career field. I am an effective teacher because I can not only teach technical concepts, but I have a background in safety and compliance and can serve as a mentor as well as an instructor. When safety, quality and technical skills go hand-in-hand, everyone benefits from reduced mishaps, fewer hazards, higher standards of quality and increased productivity because the employees understand both the HOW and the WHY of each task.I believe my skills translate to most any industry. I am currently looking to leverage my engaging, interactive training style, my ability to clarify complex concepts and my dedication to building respectful relationships with our employees. My ability to bring value to an organization by building relationships with its employees, by ensuring they are trained and engaged and by making each person feel welcomed and valued is the greatest benefit I can bring to the team. If you agree that my skills can be of value to your organization, then I can be reached at robert.briggs.5599@gmail.com to discuss any opportunities.
