Rob is an experienced strategy leader who delivered strategic responses to CxO and Board level business opportunities and challenges in a FTSE100 company. He now has a plural career of business and charity roles, and he is open to advisor, non-executive director (NED) and trustee opportunities.Rob has an excellent understanding of the telecommunications industry - particularly the strategic issues faced by telco’s - combined with a deep knowledge of technology. With overall responsibility for BT’s UK network infrastructure strategy, he led the development of BT’s £500m Universal Broadband proposal to the UK Government, and BT Group’s ultrafast (FTTP and g.fast) and broadband coverage strategies. After leaving BT he worked as an independent consultant advising on the telecommunications industry. Rob is growing a portfolio of business and charity roles where his strategy, leadership, governance and commercial skills are making a difference.
