Operations Supervisor
CurrentResponsible for the execution to plan of all manufacturing operations of the assembly, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and test of gas turbine engines, modules, components, and accessories to assure compliance to technical data, contractual obligations, and company standards. Support the implementation and maintenance of production quality standards to support compliance to the company quality policy/ISO 9001 requirements. The ability to make sound decisions to ensure production requirements are being met based on available resources.The ability to coach/mentor employees to be self-engaged and highly motivated. Directly supervise and schedule production personnel to support site goals and objectives based on master production schedule (MPS). Provide leadership and performance management to a highly motivated, empowered, and skilled team to execute the operations strategy, focusing on staffing efficiency, schedule fidelity, inventory optimization and quality, to achieve Vericor's business objectives • Conducts performance feedback through an annual review process and daily coaching/feedback discussions. Responsible for managing cost in respective areas to ensure alignment to the Vericor Operating Plan (OP). Empower, coach, and lead productivity and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, FPY, and on-time to delivery. Develop/implement time tracking system per engine process to manage hourly labor against engine and assembly module targets. Achieve labor hours per engine targets. • Support first pass yield (FPY) targets. Follow up and ensure production non-conformance issues are addressed and corrected in a timely manner. Assist the maintenance department by preparing/completing maintenance PM records as required. Aid maintenance with project design, implementation, installation, and diagnostics of processes and equipment. Coordinate effectively with material planning, engineering, logistics, quality, and program management functions.
