I was responsible for the oversight of an asset management department managing approximately 250 real estate partnerships financed primarily throught the low-income housing tax credit program. Responsibilities included creating sytems, policies, and procedures to more effectively and efficiently identify issues, participate in workout arrangements, coordinate quarterly investor reporting, coordinate the year-end audits and tax reporting, and to work with the development side of the business to provide the feedback needed to enhance the underwriting standards of the organization based on lessons learned from the existing portfolio.
