Worked with teams specializing in HD broadcasting and digital file based projects for CNN broadcast studios in New York, Atlanta and Los Angeles.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS► Successfully developed organizational plans for media server workflow and standard operating procedures.► Partnered with the Director of Production to ensure strategy and implementation. ► Created workflow studies of systems within the department, to ensure continuous uptime with minimal service interruption during upgrades. Because of the study, we discovered several flaws in the original design which led to a redesign of the system. ► Responsible for ensuring best in class project management during all phases of system testing.

Responsible for controlling daily operations of the Media Operations Department at CNN’s Broadcast Center. Managed 49 direct reports including Media Coordinators, Producers, Editor/Producers and freelance employees.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS► Promoted to this position based on my understanding of server based technology from my time running operations at CNNfn and my experience at Avid. ► Collaborated with multiple levels of senior leadership in New York, Washington DC, Los Angeles, and Atlanta to execute all new KPI’s which led to having my team train all incoming show units on correct operating procedures for managing media for their shows.

Led a team of 27 employees, and oversaw the daily operation of CNN’s only network not located in Atlanta. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS ► Managed and forecasted the company’s operating and capital budgets, resulting in a yearly savings of approximately 10% of our budgets, without compromising quality. ► Directed all studio and set re-builds and design for the facility in New York as well as remote locations. ► Point of contact for all CNN remote productions at the NYSE, Financial Times and NASDAQ trading sites. ► Deeply involved in helping cover the breaking news events during and after the 9/11 terror attacks.

► Directed the day to day operations of a large Avid rental house and post production facility. Company started exploring the development of a new post production facility in New York City to compliment its facility in Los Angeles. I was responsible to research the market and work closely design teams to develop the space for the facility. ► Hired and managed a team of 7 employees for our operation in New York to support broadcast and post production clients including ABC, CBS and CNNfn as well as Betelgeuse Productions LLC and Imagine Entertainment.

► Directed all field installations, training and customer support issues for Avid's broadcast products in the New York Metro area as well as Los Angeles, CA. ► Worked closely with technical and editorial personal at ABC, CBS, NBC, HBO, MTV, CNNfn, Fox News Channel, CNBC, MSNBC, BET, HLN, plus several other broadcasters and media companies during all phases of installation, training and integration. ► Responsible to work with the broadcast sales team to bring to market our broadcast products. At the time, Avid was considered a new company. ► Hired and managed field engineers in New York and Los Angeles.
