Mentor other software engineers, collaborate with the software architect, software engineers, and firmware engineers to design, code and test NRG’s software products. Led a major refactoring of the communication subsystem for the SymphoniePRO Desktop which resulted in higher performance and improved maintainability.

Responsible for designing, coding, documenting and testing development of eCommerce grocery shopping solution and supporting systems. Provided technical leadership for the Shop2Gro application including all aspects of the technology stack from UI through business objects to database objects. Provided development leadership and introduction of best practices in such areas as continuous integration build automation, SCRUM, development sprints, project retrospectives and automated unit testingOrganized quarterly internal hackathons for all development staff (50 to 80 participants). Directed all aspects of event preparation; created online registration forms, reserved conference rooms, defined event format, communications to management and staff, organized food order, ensured I.T. support and acted as master of ceremonies during closing presentations.
