Mijn focus binnen het consultancy team ligt vooral op strategieontwikkeling vanuit een supply chain perspectief en op S&OP-ontwikkeling. Ik begeleid directies en managementteams in de diverse stappen om tot een realistische en succesvolle strategie te komen die commitment heeft binnen de organisatie. Ik doe dat binnen multinationals, maar beweeg me ook graag in middelgrote bedrijven of MKB. Enkele van de opdrachtgevers waar ik voor gewerkt heb, zijn Swiss Sense, Van Nifterik (plantondersteuning) en Alpheios (schoonmaakartikelen). De leden van het BLMC Supply Chain Consultancy Team worden door BLMC individueel of in teamverband ingezet bij organisaties met als doel het verbeteren en transformeren van supply chains. Dat doen we op basis van de beproefde Supply Chain Optimalisatie Methode BLMC (SCOMB). We analyseren, ontwerpen en implementeren. Alle Senior Supply Chain Specialisten beschikken over minimaal 20 jaar ervaring en hebben een eigen specialisme, dat per project kan worden ingezet. De teamleden kunnen altijd een beroep op elkaar doen als klankbord of voor specialistische expertise.

Amsterdam

Responsible for 12 manufacturing units throughout Europe, with approximately 1700 employees and conversion costs of about 100 million. Member of European Board of CSM Bakery Supplies Europe.

Gorinchem

Responsible for the two manufacturing sites in Gorinchem and Ter Apelkanaal, Facility Director for the Gorinchem site (including Purac headoffice) and responsible for the local coordination of the day to day business in the Netherlands.Transformed the Gorinchem site into a specialty product site (leading a significant reorganization where lactic acid production was stopped and the site was prepared for specialties production only) and played a key role in the divestment of Ter Apelkanaal.

Amsterdam

As the Group Director Operations within the AAA (Asia-Americas-Africa)Division of Numico responsible for 12 factories in Indonesia, China, NewZealand, India, South Africa, Argentina and Brasil, as well as for the totalSupply Chain in this Division. Member of the Divisions GroupManagement Team. The AAA group has a turnover of approximately €400million.In February 2003 the role changed to VP Manufacturing and Supply ChainEmerging Markets and non Food. This as the result of a change to afunctional organizational model. More focus on manufacturing, but withincreased scope as the responsibility for the Numico factory in Russia andthe manufacturing of ESP products and pump systems were added. Breda

Responsible for two production plants in Breda and Weert with a total ofaround 750 employees. The two plants produced a total volume of 40,000metric tons (brands: Mentos, Meller, Fruitella) with a total cost-price valueof € 81 MM.

Coevorden

In April 97 Iams started in Coevorden with the construction of its first dry pet food plant outside the U.S. With a total capital investment of $100 MM a plant was built with an annual capacity of 200,000 metric tons and a projected staffing of around 200 employees. The role had responsibility for finishing the construction, building the organization as well as for a successful plant start-up.
