CurrentLed the start-up and management of new men’s basketball league that expanded to 70 teams with up to 700 athletes; planned/scheduled games at 7 gyms throughout the city with as many as three seasons each year. • Implemented leadership and organizational efforts that improved both the reputation and operational performance of the league events and athletics programs. • Started the online registration and league/event payment system along with other online marketing/promotions that saved time and improved efficiencies for handling an increased volume of athlete participants. • Reduced costs by eliminating or minimizing mailing campaigns and implementing more efficient use of technology that has improved communication with teams and streamlined the scheduling process for sports leagues. • Optimize cost controls through the strategic use of financial resources and by planning/managing the annual budget for equipment/field leasing, scholarships, gym costs, and part-time salaries. • Preside on the Board of Directors ESCRA (East Shelby Church Recreation Association), presently serve as Vice President position and formerly as President from 2010 – 2013.
