My role at the NHS initially involved maintaining and expanding the trust's intranet site. As my skill set improved, I was given additional responsibilities, requiring me to learn new programming languages and methodologies. These additional responsibilities included -Assisting in the development and customisation of a Wordpress website (both front end and back end)Managing the Internal Request Site which was used to create new users, accept policies, request hardware and so onAssist in the integration and development of the Trust Integration Engine, a platform used to allow multiple healthcare systems to share data to improve the efficiency of staffAssist in the development of the HSCIE. This required me to work with an external development team, seeking personal training JAVA and Angular JS as well at Git project workflows. The HSCIE was being developed with the aim of allowing CRUD data transfer to and from all hospital systems from a single accessible place. My time at the NHS was brief due to a new opportunity.
