With over 17 years of experience in education technology, I am an accomplished IT manager with expertise in managing teams and projects, as well as driving business development. My career began in special educational needs technology, which provided me with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by educators and learners in this space. I have since expanded my expertise to include cloud technology, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, and Windows Server.Apart from my technical knowledge, I have experience implementing and managing ISO 27001 and 9001 standards, which has made me understand the importance of information security and quality management. Throughout my career, my passion for technology has remained a driving force. I strongly believe that technology can enhance education and its potential can be harnessed to promote accessibility, engagement, and learning outcomes.A core strength is my project management skills. I have a successful track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. I have experience in leading large-scale projects using methodologies such as PRINCE2. I collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. My experience has enabled me to create detailed project plans, manage risks and issues, and ensure timely delivery of milestones. I have excellent communication skills and can present project updates and status reports to senior management and stakeholders confidently.In addition to my project management skills, I am an experienced trainer, delivering both customer-facing training and internal training and development for staff. My passion for technology and education is evident in the training programs that I have developed and delivered on various topics, including cloud technology, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, and active directory.
