Communications Director
Current• Serve as a member of the state team and is responsible for the development and implementation of AARP’s presence in communities• Recruit, train, evaluate and manage volunteers• Work with national office staff to promote AARP’s strategic issues and priorities, programs and activities• Develop and implement AARP integrated community and communications strategies and state campaigns• Work with national office staff to promote AARP’s strategic issues and priorities, programs, and activities, and to position AARP with the media in the states• Organize and maintain visible and effective statewide coalitions and partnerships dealing with strategic issues
