As Director of Surveillance, I am fundamentally responsible with protecting the assets of the Hotel and Casino, as well as maintaining the integrity of all games, ensuring compliance with the regulations of the Nevada Gaming Commission, and further monitoring all Table Game and Slot activity for any incidents of cheating, collusion, or violations of Internal Controls. I am also tasked with noting deficiencies in Internal Controls and submitting revisions to the property’s General Counsel for implementation. I also conduct investigations of employees/patrons for violations of company/Gaming Commission policies.

Las Vegas, Nevada Area

As Director of Surveillance, I ran the Surveillance department, including meeting budgetary guidelines and performance expectations. Conducted investigations involving employee misconduct, internal theft issues, and guest’s incidents and reported findings to the proper authorities. Evaluated and mentored supervisory staff providing opportunities to develop their skills, knowledge and abilities. Reviewed operations to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company polices and requirements.

Las Vegas

Review statistical reports from all casino operations, evaluate investigators performances in meeting goals and objectives, implement Succession planning and training assist and administer monthly fraud awareness training to Management personnel. Development and the implementation of property specific goals, objectives and strategic plans. Network with outside department heads and executives. Maintain, plan and organize installations for Surveillance camera coverage on the casino floor and back of the house areas. Assist the Director with Budget Strategy and the accountability and spending records for budget throughout the fiscal year for the department.
