I have contributed to the British Medical Association (BMA) Medical Student Committee’s latest strategy with a highlight on education. This was as my role as the national lead for their education portfolio (Dep. Co-chair Education) at a crucially important time balancing stakeholders such as General Medical Council (GMC), Medical Schools’ Council (MSC), UK Foundation Programme Organisation (UKFPO), NHS England, and others. During this time the planning of the country’s first national Medical Licensing Assessment (MLA) was finalised, and a new UKFPO allocation system was trialled for 10,000 new doctors entering the NHS. Member of Medical Students’ Committee (MSC), MSC Exec, Medical Academic Staff Committee (MASC), Professional Regulation Committee, and Education & Training Advisory Group.External: Medical Schools' Council Electives Committee, UKFPO Recruitment Delivery Group, UKMED Advisory Group, and Medical Schools' Council UKMLA AKT Policy Group.

Sabbatical year to work closely with my medical school and university on improvements for our students, including:• Securing ~£6.4 million and designing the Garrod Building renovations to integrate student support / faculty staff / Students' Union space all into one hub.• Ran #WeAreBL campaign against the loss of the Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry name due to rebranding, including a petition of over 16,000 students/staff/alumni & national media coverage.• Interviewing and selecting key leadership for the medical school faculty & institute leadership: VP Health and Medical School director - ensuring there was student voice into these decisions to select supportive & effective leadership.• Supporting a BLSA Board with 20+ representatives supporting educational improvements, welfare campaigns, sports/societies, events, and more.• Organised, alongside my VP, the return of our student-led Rites of Passage event for graduating doctors and dentists in St. Pauls cathedral with 2000 attendees, and another 2000 online live streaming.• Member of the highest board of Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry: Faculty Executive Board, and Queen Mary University of London: College Council - enabling grassroots knowledge from student course representatives to be raised to the highest levels.
