Responsibilities include development and implementation of Airport / FBO direct marketing program, identifying new revenue generating and grant opportunities, development of department performance measures, updating CIP and State TIP programs, department budgeting, developing presentations and justifications of capital budget items for City Council, NCDOT Aviation Division, and FAA, updating airport minimum standards, creation of FAA 139 airport certification manual, tracking FBO fuel sales and rates & charges, handling and tracking citizen noise complaints, updating airport website, department liaison for City employee benefits, GIS, and performance improvement committees, represent airport on regional planning committees, and as necessary supervised or assisted FBO customer service, accounting, and ramp functions.

Elected for a 3rd four year term on the seven member school board in November 2020. Starting my 12th year on the board in December 2023. Have served as vice-chair and chair. Running for re-election in March 2024 primary and hopefully November 2024 general election for 4th four year term.

Volunteer board member helping CAPA reach corporate aviation professionals in North and South Carolina, coordinating networking and professional development events, offering scholarships, and promoting corporate aviation industry importance to youth, elected officials, and public.

Responsibilities included negotiating,, drafting and overseeing the terms and conditions of lease and operating agreements between the Airport Authority and tenants at Fort Wayne International Airport, overseeing the Airport Authority’s land acquisition program, and monitoring insurance and risk management functions. Maintained GIS maps and lease & tenant databases, managed a department budget of $1.7 million, prepared annual inventory of Airport owned buildings and equipment, completed numerous surveys, and worked to attract new tenants for vacant Airport leaseholds

Responsibilities included monitoring of activities and facilities at Ft. Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport and North Perry Airport for safety and security including inspections, discrepancy reporting, emergency response, tenant notifications, providing assistance to users, and related jobs on landside, terminal, communications center, and airfield areas.
