Evans has been CEO of 4 California banks, 3 international banking corporations and a Hong Kong merchant bank. He has held banking positions from teller trainee to Chairman. Today, he and his firm serve as fiduciaries or advisors in a number of complex financial matters. In most, he or his firm serve as an officer of a State or Federal Court, usually on the nomination of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Trade Commission, Department of Justice, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, or Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. He has served as a California Special Deputy Superintendent of Banks and as Special Deputy Commissioner of Financial Institutions.Evans and his colleagues are best known for managing the wind up of the infamous Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) in the United States. BCCI was, at the time, the largest financial fraud and asset forfeiture in history. Evans served as Trustee for the United States in that matter.Prior to the formation of his present company, Evans guided the founding, reorganization, purchase and sale of a number of financial institutions and corporations in the US, Europe and Asia. he and his associates include, among their responsibilities, administering loans and other assets, including real estate, hotels and operating corporations. They have extensive experience in managing complex litigation & international asset tracing and recovery. Evans is Past President of California Bankers Association and founding Director of Beach Business Bank in Manhattan Beach. When troubled Pan American Bank received emergency capital from several banks, he was named Chair and CEO and served as such until it merged into a larger institution. He was California’s 2012 “Distinguished Banker of the Year”. He served Chair of Coast National Bank in San Luis Obispo, which then merged into Sierra Bancorp and Bank of the Sierra. He was named to the boards of both. He and his wife Linda live in Cambria and Bakersfield.
