Founded a company in 2010 called RCA with the fundamental purpose of supporting organisations to foster company cultures that enable people to realise the best versions of themselves. As James Clear so eloquently put it, "We don't rise to the level of our goals but instead, fall to the level of our systems." Since the inception of RCA, my team and I have been curiously seeking to better understand human behaviour in order to offer the best system that truly moves the culture needle in the right direction in perpetuity for our clients. I believe that the development of any company culture is in essence an infinite game. One cannot win at developing a culture but rather build on what was achieved yesterday. This fundamental truth has enabled us to walk an indefinite road with the bulk of our client base and partner with them to build competency, continuity and collaboration within the respective teams. The framework of deliverables that we continue to iterate and evolve is fundamentally based upon blended learning (bespoke e-learning and live engagements) as well as measurement in the form of progressive staff appraisals and mystery shopping. Brands that we have worked and partnered with include Adidas, Reebok, Coricraft, Spec-Savers, V&A Waterfront, Canal Walk, Cape Union Mart, Le Creuset, Ellerman House, The Saxon, Waterford Estate, Pringle of Scotland, Ben Sherman, Sportsmans Warehouse, Carlton Hair, Distell, DGB, Pearl Valley, Steenberg, Leopard Creek, Zimbali amongst others. I place significant meaning in the autonomy of thought which is at a fundamental level why I chose the path of entrepreneurship. My passions away from work are predominantly rooted in sport. I enjoy running and have been fortunate to complete two comrades marathons as well as two oceans marathons. I thoroughly enjoy the mental battle of golf and everything surrounding the sport. I would describe myself as self-driven and most alive when the decision to undertake a task is very much my own. Having said this, I do not believe I would be able to do any of this without my significant other and our two wonderful children. This is ultimately all that really matters.
