I currently work for Tokio Marine Kiln Insurance as an Operations and Change Manager and have an insurance career spanning 19 years across Brokers and Insurers, working within Lloyd’s Syndicates for the past 13 years. My career history involves working within skilled and management roles and I have found my profession path has helped me benefit to be able to learn about the diversity of insurance and be at the forefront of transformation and reform within the market.Currently working within an oversight function enables me to have close relationships with both the business in general and stakeholders. As well as overseeing operational elements of Product Governance and Consumer Duty, I also manage small change and involvement within projects which requires me to undertake facilitation, documentation and delivering the change. Using my own knowledge and that of business SMEs, I always aim to encourage strong and robust process application. I have not only obtained experience in my positions but have also regularly committed to professional studies, having completed BCS BA certifications, APMG’s AgileBA Foundation and Practitioner qualifications whilst also becoming a certified Scrum Master. I would like to think of myself able to apply a practical and common-sense approach to work undertaken, dedicated, hardworking and always willing to put in the effort needed to make something succeed. Not only do I seek challenges within my work and through my studies, but also like to apply myself to promoting a company’s wellbeing model via extra-curricular activities and charitable events.
