I was an indentured apprentice 35 plus years ago and achieved good results in my city and Guilds exams. I moved onto a local authority after 4 years, while on their I greatly improved my wallpapering skills of which I still use and enjoy doing to this day. The 12 plus years I was on the authority I took the opportunity to learn other trades, I went onto the glazing section were I learned to make double glazed units, cut glass and hack out broken windows and put back in traditional putty skills. I then went on to achieve my level 3 in plumbing on there, In about the year 2000 I went self employed and have not looked back, happy days😊😊
