My name is Robert Bean. I am from Star Idaho, born and raised on a ranch. I grew up on a horse moving cows and team roping and feeding cows and driving tractors. My first job was working for Superior Construction out of meridian Idaho on a grade crew. I learned the “old fashioned” way. Eye level tape measures string lines and shovel and rakes were part of my tool belt if you will. My next job was working for Nampa Paving and asphalt as a foreman on a grade crew utilizing state of the art gps equipment with Topcon machine control. We specialized in asphalt prep and concrete prep. The next job was a superintendent position at Flatline construction out of star Idaho. We used state of the art John Deere smart grade dozers and Topcon motor graders to structurally fill roads and lots and fine grade roads and sidewalks. After 19 years in the road construction industry I’ve developed skills to utilize Topcon gps and topcon machine control specifically John Deere smart-grade equipment to lead Teams building roads, parking lots, building pads and clearances and landscape berms.
