I’m the Founder and CEO of Solo Parent, a nonprofit created by single parents, for single parents. Our mission is to support single-parent families by addressing their emotional, mental, physical, and social needs while equipping them with the resources and community they need to thrive.Before starting Solo Parent, my career was focused on developing major Christian artists like Jars of Clay, Third Day, Michael W. Smith, Casting Crowns, and many others. While I’m proud of the success and recognition that came with that work, my own experience as a single dad raising three daughters reshaped my priorities and gave me a new calling.In the U.S., there are 10.9 million single-parent households raising 23 million kids. These families face overwhelming emotional and financial challenges, and many don’t feel supported or understood. I started Solo Parent because I’ve lived that reality, and I believe we can change the story for these families—helping them not just survive but thrive.At Solo Parent, we’ve seen the power of connection and community in transforming lives.
