Responsibility included daily use of MRP tools/process to manage demand ensuring uninterrupted supply of material. Responsibilities included managing the supply chain with internal/external suppliers roughly valued at approximately $25 MUSD per year along multiple product lines. Subject Matter Expert in RNAM Supply for Fiber, Sitedev and NPI efforts.Developed & Implemented first buffer/non-allocated supply chain in Ericsson North America. This greatly reduced material lead time requirements to successfully deliver each site. All other RNAM supply chains implemented this strategy after the successful pilot project.Developed & Implemented first real time BOM (Bill Of Material) tool. This solution provides real time material status via web access for every site. Additionally, it facilitates material forecasting, procurement & delivery flow. Reporting provides historical statistics to allow supply chain performance improvements & KPI monitoring. This tool is still in use today and it is being used on other supply chains.

2007: NDI MUNA Site Development Material Management.2006-2007: Worked within a team project on the decommissioning and removal of Cingular’s North Texas TDMA and GSM redundant and obsolete cell site equipment for 435 sites. 2006-2007: Worked within a team project on two separate Cingular UMTS installation projects of 60 sites. 2005-2006: Worked within a project team on a large scale multi-million dollar integration and growth of Cingular’s North Texas UMTS telecommunications network (Five Projects involving 626 sites: UMTS FOA, Phase I & II, and New Build).

Responsibilities included design of Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Phase II communication system requirements (expansion to Irving, Carrolton and Rowlett). Also, assisted engineering to create installation packages and review contractor submitted documentation. Products and experience include Penta Non-Blocking Audio Switch, Emergency Telephones, Fire/Intrusion Alarming, CCTV, PA/VMB, OC-12 UPSR Ring (Cisco 15454), Tellabs Channel Bank, Best Power UPS Systems, Black Diamond Extreme Switch, Allen Bradley RTU, SCADA, Outside Plant cable/conduit installation and Inside Plant standards compliance. Instrumental in saving DART approximately $1.5 Million for their Phase II design by reducing physical plant requirements.Note: ACEX was purchased by Stantec in 2006.

Created engineering documentation packages detailing a project’s scope of work, installation requirements and bill of materials. Supported installation teams to completion of each project. Routinely performed a supervisory role effectively managing other optical engineers on other projects to ensure milestones were met. Instrumental in improving Nortel’s Engineering Documentation Packages (EDPs).

Worked with Network Engineering and Installation to develop Bill of Materials and Purchase Orders to support projects. Also assisted field installation crews to resolve engineering/material issues.

Contracted to MCI LD Engineering to create Engineering Documentation Packages detailing project scope of work, installation Bill of Materials and to support the installation teams through completion of the projects. Products and experience include ACES, Nortel/Fujitsu/Alcatel OC-48/192, Siemens/Cienna/Pirelli Optical Amplifiers and WDM/DWDM. Effectively supervised 5 optical engineers and prepared bids for projects, including submitting those bids to the perspective companies.

Assigned to Tech Control. Established and maintained various live traffic signals through EHF, SHF, VHF and HF including encryption equipment.
