 Responsible for facility management of our Dahlgren facility in Virginia (previously responsible for the management of three separate facilities totaling 88,800 sq’). General facility management activities include day to day coordination with building engineering and property management staff; space usage; system maintenance and repairs; invoice review and accounts payable; participating in lease renewal and negotiations; tenant improvements; project management; etc.  Provides facility design and construction management for all sites (existing and proposed) associated with our business unit, working with architects, engineers and general contractors. This includes collecting requirements; determining space allocation and conceptual design; systems reviews; furnishes and finishes; etc. Provides on-site support during facility transition, such as the opening, closing or relocating of facilities and staff.  Assists business development activities by determining facility requirements; cost estimating; proposal development; etc. Previously - Ethics, Safety and Business Continuity Manager.

 Responsible for facility upgrades at 14 primary and 100 satellite Department of Justice facilities in the throughout the U.S. This includes budgeting, material procurement, personnel scheduling, project management, telecommunications infrastructure design and engineering (including power and cooling), customer interaction, problem resolution, and invoicing. Additional responsibilities include performing site surveys, developing survey reports, generating drawing packages and scopes of work (including material lists and labor estimates). Perform quality assurance inspections at installation sites, ensuring telecommunication infrastructure installations performed by the installation teams were conducted in accordance with the statement of work and all applicable standards and codes. Supervised three other field engineers performing similar work.
