Robert E. Bone Jr. is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from Florida State University with a degree in International Affairs in 1987. He continued his education and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina in 1989. During law school, he interned in the civil department of the U.S. Attorney's office in Columbia, South Carolina.Once he completed his academic pursuits, Robert moved back to Florida where he passed the Florida Bar in 1990 and has remained a member. Robert has 24 years of experience in private practice helping individuals and families navigate through issues of Estate Planning, Divorce, Bankruptcy, Business, Elder Law and Real Estate. He is part owner of A & B Title and Escrow Services, Inc. He is experienced in litigation as well as resolving matters outside of the courtroom. He treats clients with respect and compassion, and takes time to explain the law and action plan with each client's understanding in mindHe worked as the assistant Fort Myers city attorney from 1994 though 1996. Robert was elected to the Florida North Lake County Hospital District in 2010 and served until 2014 to oversee the imposition of and allotment of property tax for indigent care in Lake County. He was elected to the Leesburg City Commission in 2014 and served as Mayor in 2017, He is past president of the Leesburg Area Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club president, Leesburg Historic board member and chairman, and President of the Leesburg Center for the Arts.Robert is married to Tiffany and together they have eight children including a 6 and 9 year old who are uncles to nine grandchildren from their older siblings. They love to travel together and spend many Friday family nights eating Asian food and going to movies as a family.Robert graduated from Elder Law College in October 2017 and is able to call upon his knowledge and experience in other areas of the when assisting clients with their long term planning needs.
