My roles on this project wound up being pretty diverse, but currently I work in the Gameplay/Scripting side of things. There was a gap between my initial contributions (which finished up in the fall of 2019) and my current role, so I was not on the team for the entire process.Maby of the details of my role are covered by a strict NDA, so I won't be providing any more details about what I did at Bolder Games, practically speaking, but let me assure you, it was fantastic work that expanded the boundaries of what people can expect from a digital agent.

I was the senior animator on an as yet undisclosed project for Disney. As senior animator I created character animations and answered to Gabe Priske, the Creative Director for the project.

The last and biggest and longest standing project I contributed to was to build an automated lip sync avatar, completely autonomous and ultimately capable of complex personal interactions. In developing a number of new technologies I may have automated myself out of a job, which I think of as a massive success.During my tenure at ICS I began by creating create digital sets and props, but eventually evolved my position into one of primarily designing and developing digital avatars of varying complexity with visually accurate speech.

I dealt with parts of the day to day administration of signing up new students, and quickly acclimated them to our friendly and healthy martial practice environment.Shared the duties of running class with the other instructor Cathy A. Gaffney, including warming up for the beginning of class, running sparring drills and sparring practice, teaching forms, and warming down classes at the end.Practice forms (or katas) included empty handed forms, animal forms, weapons forms, Tai Chi, Pa Kua, and Hsing I.

As an intern I essentially "sampled" tasks, giving me experience with everything from Character Animation to Environment Painting to Scripting.
