I am the president and CEO of Boyd Machine Co Inc and I am the second generation owner of the company started by my father Robert Boyd Sr. I grew up in the business working in the shop summers from 13 years old and then full time after graduating from high school. I left Boyd Machine in 1980 not to return until 2001 after a career in aviation that included directing maintenance for general aviation and commercial airlines and being the liaison between Piedmont Hawthorn Aviation and the FAA. Since returning I have been moving the company forward with our company becoming ISO 9001-2008 approved September 2 2008 and retaining that certification current thru 2023 when we will again go thru the registration process. along with many upgrades in our machining centers and our quality control departments. We pride ourselves on providing our customers in the aerospace, instrument, semi conductor and other industry's with the finest machinedproducts available. We also provide some of our customers with value engineering and innovative production methods.
