Minor Improvement Team - Northwest Contract. Responsible for multiple, consecutive civil engineering projects on the trunk road network. The area covers the A9 from Perth up to Thurso, also over to Ullapool, Isle of Skye, Mallaig, Oban and Campbeltown. The works range from drainage problems to road realignments.

Responsible for survey, design and draughting of new & alterations to existing fire protection systems due to high risk of explosions, fire systems are required to protect personnel and assets. This had been mainly on offshore oil & gas installations and vessels, however we have diversified to other sectors including mining, renewables and waste. I design mainly with 3D modelling software, namely AutoDesk Inventor, producing skid frames, spool details, general arrangements, lifting arrangements, etc. I have experience with Pointcloud data and use AutoDesk Plant 3d and Faro Pointsense for large mining production fire protection scheme. I produce 2D drawings such as P&ID's, electrical schematics etc with AutoCAD, and use Plant 3D to auto create piping isometrics.

Part of the engineering team working on subsea production equipment, focusing on a lower riser marine package, including xtree, well control and emergency disconnect package. Modelling of parts and assemblies in SolidWorks, and production of drawings for forging, components and assemblies. Also 2D draughting in AutoCad, including Scope of Testing & Supply, and P&ID's.

Design, engineering, modelling and draughting of rotational and high torque machines, radiation containers, jar testers and containerised workshops for the oil and gas industry. SolidWorks and AutoDesk Inventor.

Managing infrastructure projects within Roads, mainly concerned with flood prevention, coastal protection and structures maintenance.
