This mindset applies to the programmatic requirements, materials and products, construction documents, and final assembly. I have experience in design development, construction document development, specification writing, and construction administration. The majority of my experience is on Federal projects for the Department of Defense (US Army and US Air Force) and Department of Homeland Security (Customs and Border Protection and Transportation Safety Administration).Sustainable DesignI have been a LEED Consultant on numerous projects, performing design criteria reviews, preliminary project evaluations, coordination of sustainable design goals with construction document development, construction phase oversight, and certification submittal. Sustainable design clients have included: University of Texas at El Paso, Department of Defense, US Customs and Border Protection, Bexar County, Harris County, and General Services Administration.
