NTT Communications, Cloud Infrastructure Services (CIS) provides a globally distributed network of private cloud platforms. NTT Group companies leverage CIS' platforms and support services to build hybrid cloud solutions for enterprise client workloads.Primary responsibilities include global platform delivery and global infrastructure management of the Dimension Data Cloud business unit. Extensive work with international teams and regions to increase speed of delivery across over 60 cloud platforms. Responsible for the complete delivery lifecycle from sales order entry, through procurement, into platform delivery as well as ongoing data center infrastructure support. Directly responsible for oversight of revenue delivered to the business in a timely manner. Infrastructure team is directly responsible for over $170 million in assets across 31 data center sites around the world. Upon taking over the delivery organization the standard client delivery timeline was 20 weeks. Worked with the delivery organization to develop agile delivery methods that decreased the timeline from 20 weeks to 8 for standard products. Identified and initiated a consolidation program to reduce data center spend by 40% while maintaining platform uptime and mitigating risks in data centers with the work plan.

Delivered solutions ranging from basic collocation and managed colo, to fully dedicated server/cloud solutions. Directly responsible for design and installation of power, cage build, rack layout, cabling, and installation of network and server solutions. Worked with vendors for electrical, carpenter, and infrastructure cabling work in customer environments and QA of solutions prior to release. Responsible for customer documentation of environments for ongoing support for service centers and onsite personnel. Worked in a direct support capacity during customer’s release phase and through initial months of the run phase and once turned over to support centers served as an SME for the solution as needed. Developed reports for customer environments to provide monthly data for customer solution to include power, cooling, and space utilization/availability. Provide extensive internal reports about data center environments broken down by customer and as a whole.

Responsible for building and developing the support infrastructure, hiring support representatives, and developing a business plan to make support a profitable solution to the company. Managed Sales Engineering and Support for the US based business unit. Developed and conducted a customer training program that provides a workshop environment that delivered training and exposure to the messaging platform. Developed and built marketing packets for product information to be used in packets for ISPCON; stood the floor at ISPCON and provided marketing and sales demonstrations for potential customers and product partners.

Supported Windows NT4 and 2000 Server domains across 3 Data Centers. Responsible for the security, safety, and the reliability of the client domains, and internal systems. Responsible for migrations from WinNT4 to Win2000 to include site content, databases, mail servers, and any special software packages that the client needed. Worked directly with clients on migrations and escalated support issues. Managed Y2K Migration for all Windows servers with zero affected servers, legacy included.
