Force Systems It Trainer
CurrentI am a Force Systems IT Trainer and am responsible for teaching Athena (investigation, intelligence, and case files) and the PND (Police National Database) intelligence system. I am also a Digital Developer and create fun and engaging digital content using Adobe Captivate for specialist in-house elearning packages. These focus on a blended approach to incorporate a wide range of collaborative elements, and utilising branching (scenario based learning). I complete online learning to enhance my knowledge and spend time with professionals and subject matter experts in their departments to gain a real insight into policing within the community, which I then incorporate into my teaching practices and lesson plans to benefit my student’s needs.In my spare time I enjoy giving people advice and coach them on how to correctly complete and evidence their job application forms, providing them with the opportunity for competency based interviews with developmental feedback, making them feel more confident during an interview.
