- Department Manager of a higher education customer service workforce (consisting of two Supervisors & 50 employees approx. during peak season (July/Sept. & Oct./Jan.) 2 Supervisors & 25approx employees during non-peak) that handle phone calls, emails and live chat inquiries with students and parents. - Working knowledge in multiple databases and software including: SAP, Banner, PeopleSoft, Janzebar, DataTel, ELM, Cashnet and various other Nelnet based applications.- Outsourced offices under my direct management responsibilities include: Admissions, Housing, Financial Aid, Bursar, and Registrar. - Created and maintain a company Knowledge Base that employees utilize to help answer customer inquiries; serves as a central job aid to ensure consistent quality responses to students and parents.- Communicate with clients directly through phone emails, weekly conference calls, monthly inquiry reports and yearly face-to-face meetings.- Responsible for employee hiring/staffing, training, disciplinary actions and ongoing supervision.- Accompany senior salesmen on school site visits when asked to give a formal presentation to prospective clients; my role is to assist in explaining CMD’s daily processes that will be implemented when incorporating/partnering with the client to help outsource their call inquiries, emails and live chat.
