Responsible for the successful development, maintenance and undertaking of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure consistency and efficiency throughout the Site, as well as continually improve and monitor processes and quality to ensure compliance to Company and industry requirements. This includes planning support, mentorship, training and troubleshooting assistance in all areas, while working to develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the FHR Management Teams. Previous: Night shift QA Lead for Tie In Packages, review and approve contractor work/test packages prior to release for work in the field, managing new equipment to obtain baseline data and create equipment folders for including the equipment to the MI program. Assist contractors in obtaining missing information/data for the execution of work & turnover. Supporting the Client as requested to fill voids or gaps in the system to ensure FHRHC has a successful "2017 Event".

Managing Pre-TAR activities, coordination of Tie In NDE activities prior to the TAR; base line data on all new equipment arriving at site for the MI Program; auditing the project & contractors to identify gaps in processes to ensure a progressive positive PSSR & start up at the end; & supporting the Chief Inspector in support of the project and other ongoing maintenance activities. Responsible for the overall development and implementation of KBR Quality programs to monitor that they are incorporated into the daily operational activities while continually improving quality processes’ to ensure value and compliance with the client and industry requirements. Ensure that programs are consistent with KBR corporate standards, across the different disciplines. Scheduling and conducting document and technical internal quality audits of project processes and deliverables to verify compliance with the quality assurance program; reviewing and approving internal audit reports; and verifying the adequacy of corrective actions taken, Indoctrinating and updating training of quality personnel on quality issues, acts as the KBR representative for external client audits and preparing appropriate corrective action responses; communicates with, and provides oversight to, designated project quality assurance inspectors, maintains office quality assurance records, prepares proposed revisions to the quality assurance manual.Issue a monthly quality assurance report to the quality director and site manager, which summarize quality assurance activities on the project. Verify through internal audits, that scheduled independent technical reviews and detail checks (as appropriate) are performed on critical aspects of project work or final work products by qualified personnel with sufficient expertise in the proper discipline. Together with the site manager, assesses the adequacy of the quality assurance program’s implementation and the competency of review personnel on the project.

Responsible for providing leadership to the Quality Control, Technical Services, Project Turnover and Assurance personnel and activities in URS Flint’s Projects U.S. service line to continually improve and monitor processes and quality to ensure compliance to regulatory and industry requirements including planning support, mentorship, training and troubleshooting assistance in all areas, while working to develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the URS Flint management teams, the service line management and corporate organization to ensure the programs are consistent with corporate standards, across disciplines and across projects. Provide daily leadership to the project employees, supporting the development and execution of functional plans, and, measurement and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Responsible for implementing a site surveillance/audit process for each of the DuPont maintenance and small capital sites, travelling to the sites performing audits to find the deficiencies in the current procedures in place and the best path forward for compliance. Support the sites needs for welding procedures, KBR work method procedures, and develop quality manuals and forms to be site specific. Meet with client management during each visit to gain their input and perspective to ensure that KBR is supporting DuPont effectively at each site. Responsible for site project support as needed, proposal support, and site surveillances of the projects across the U.S. I work to review and amend our quality policies and procedures for each sites specific needs with the site manager, obtain and distribute weld procedures from our weld metallurgist, and witness welder qualification testing assistance as needed. Collaborated to develop a "inspectors list" to ensure that each inspector is up to date with their certifications, training hours and eye exams. I assist to set up and schedule inspector certification classes with the KBR Level III instructor.

Responsible for night shift inspections on the F-6101 and F-6102 Furnace rebuilds, I was in charge and follow up of all third party inspection services and reports, worked with my daytime Manager to build the Client Sign off packages and walked the systems with my nighttime client inspection team, I was responsible for visual testing and dye penetrant testing the fillet welds on the skin replacement and structural modifications, proper installation of the refractory hangers inside the furnace, replacement of the mule ears that were the wrong material, proper thermocouple placement, welding and shield installation, reinstallation of the new upper furnace, ducts, bracing, and burner replacement.

Responsible for documenting and photographing upper skin, convection section and tube sheet removal due to a furnace blow out for failure analysis purposes for the Engineering Company as the plant had re-tubed the furnace with incorrect tubes, I was then responsible to verify all repairs and materials of the repair work that we performed including re-tubing the furnace with the correct material tubes, rebuilding the convection section, and verification of proper refractory procedures were followed.

Responsible for tracking modifications, repairs and API 598 testing of valves, Inspections of all incoming and outgoing shipments, verification of all daily inspection reports for all equipment, forklifts and truck are completed, Inspections of freight packing and loading prior to receiving and shipping, NCR documentation and resolution for all Lockwood facilities worldwide, random quarterly audits of modification shops, supplies and Lockwood facilities which totaled over three hundred thousand square feet of warehouse with fifteen million a month in sales. Responsible for setting up site safety management plan for all of Lockwood facilities, and implementing detailed policy and procedures for receiving, inspecting, storing, packaging and then shipping of valves at all Lockwood facilities.

Responsible for ensuring quality control at the fabrication yard, duties included weld mapping, welder qualification testing (6g restricted box test), scheduling X-ray, radiography interpretation, perform stress relief, Brinell testing, supervise hydrostatic testing, refractory installation inspection, dimensional checks, material receiving and inspection, dye penetrant testing, and visual inspections.
