Senior Architect
CurrentI'm currently shepherding the construction of Pride Place, on Broadway in Capitol Hill. Pride Place will provide 118 apartments, primarily for the LGBTQIA+ community. GenPride, a social service agency serving queer seniors, will occupy the ground floor.Previously I managed the renovation of several low-income multi-family buildings for Capitol Hill Housing (now Community Roots) and the Low Income Housing Institute, including the Frye Apartments. The Frye, once Seattle's premier hotel, is a National Historic Landmark in Pioneer Square that now provides over 200 units of permanent supportive housing. In addition to the major seismic retrofit, the massive terracotta cornice was repaired and partially replaced. The Frye Apartments Renovation won the 2022 Outstanding Stewardship Award from Historic Seattle.
