This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for providing leadership throughout the clinical development process. Direct scientific development and execution of Tiziana’s Clinical Programs providing medical oversight to achieve program objectives and deliverables. 
Responsible for designing pre-clinical and clinical studies and executing the regulatory strategy supporting drug development 
Lead assigned clinical development team(s), including interactions with research, toxicology, and drug safety, and operations, biostatistics, regulatory and other functions. In partnership with the clinical operations group, responsible for the management and governance of external vendors involved in pre-clinical and clinical trials

Team leader for Rheumatoid arthritis and Psoriasis clinical research group

•Assist in the planning of phase 3, phase 4 and off-label research strategy for a cytokine antagonist ( proof of concept studies)•Prepare extended budget forecasts for planned studies. Oversee implementation of planned studies•Departmental activities including managing budgets and the hire, supervision and review of staff•Coordinate activities with marketing department in preparation for product launch•Team leader for standardizing operational policies
