MGA/underwriting management company specializing in the development and management of insurance programs and products for the commercial trucking industry. In this position I was directly responsible for the successful underwriting of $45,000,000 in Auto Liability premiums with Allmerica/Hanover Insurance Company. This included systems, rates, rules, forms and underwriting/claims training. I was also responsible for the development and implementation of binding authorities with various carriers for Physical Damage, Motor Truck Cargo, Workers Compensation, Business Auto & Garage as well as Excess Liability and Umbrella coverage. Carriers under contract included Lloyds, American Home, Lexington, General Star and ACE totaling in excess of $10,000,000 in premium per annum. Within this position I was also responsible for staffing, agency appointment/management, reinsurance treaty negotiations, all lines product development and profitability.
