I currently conduct comprehensive environmental studies of statewide significance as an environmental project manager for the Caltrans and previously for the California Energy Commission. my responsibilities involve balancing complex issues related to regulation, economic viability and special interests. Additionally, I am able to administer environmental programs, manage multi-disciplinary staff, perform environmental, financial and statistical analysis, oversee land development permitting activities and forge effective intergovernmental coordination. I also administer consultant contracts and prepare budgets and scopes-of-work. Further, I prepare and make presentations for workshops, testify at hearings, and forge productive dialogue with stakeholders. Combined, I possess 25 years of public policy, regulatory oversight, planning project management, urban planning and enviromental planning (CEQA/NEPA) public and private experience. My recent experience includes senior level environmental and planning project management for large scale power plants and transmission facilities, airport facilities, assessment districts, military planning proposals, residential, commercial and industrial development projects, general and specific plans, and planning policies development and implementation. My experience is highlighted by my ability to innovate, develop and implement procedures to maximize results. I am an effective and fair leader who possesses excellent supervision, training, and employee development abilities. As a project planner, my organizational skills equipped me with the ability to move projects through the process with the people and resources available. I am adept at seeking opportunities to improve or expedite projects while understanding constraints, and while meeting budgets and schedules.
