I guide clients through the critical phases of expanding, developing, buying and selling real property in Montgomery County and surrounding jurisdictions.Some of my representative projects include:- Boston Properties/Marriott Headquarters: Representing Boston Properties in its joint venture development of a downtown Bethesda site for the new corporate headquarters of Marriott International (office tower for 3,500 employees and full service Marriott hotel).- Washington Adventist Hospital: Representing WAH in site acquisition, planning, zoning, and site plan phases for an 800,000 SF replacement hospital in White Oak. - White Flint Mall: Representing Lerner Enterprises/The Tower Companies in master planning and redevelopment applications to convert regional retail mall into a 5.2 million SF mixed-use project.- Blairs Master Plan: Representing The Tower Companies in redevelopment of the Blairs, a 27-acre mixed-use project in downtown Silver Spring to achieve additional density of 1,400 apartments and 300,000 SF of office and retail uses, for total site development of 2,800 apartments and 450,000 SF of non-residential uses.- National Lutheran Communities & Services: Representing NLCS in development of new retirement community in Annapolis, Maryland.- Adventist HealthCare: Representing AHC in planning and development applications for another 700,000 SF of medical facilities at Shady Grove Adventist Medical Center.Black Hills: Representing Lerner Enterprises in its Black Hills project in Germantown for master planning, zoning, subdivision, and site plans for a 3.1 million SF mixed-use development of office, hotel, apartment, and retail facilities.- Buchanan Partners: Represented Buchanan Partners in zoning, subdivision and site planning for 26 acre mixed--use project containing 466 apartments, townhouses and ancillary retail space in Germantown.
